What is CFSS and how can it help me?
CFSS is a new home care program from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS), created to give Medicaid enrollees greater choice, control, and flexibility over the services and supports they need to live and work in their communities. It replaces the Personal Care Assistance (PCA) and Consumer Support Grant (CSG) programs.
Grounded in the principles of self-determination and self-direction, CFSS puts decision-making in the hands of the people receiving care. The program offers support with activities such as:

Eating, bathing, grooming, and transferring (Activities of Daily Living, or ADLs)

Shopping, preparing meals, and managing household tasks (Instrumental Activities of Daily Living, or IADLs)

Health-related tasks like exercises and medication management
